Patient Participation Group

The Practice recruits interested patients of this Practice to join its Patient Participation Group (or PPG for short). With the ever increasing need to engage with patients about primary care, PPGs can provide a means of meeting this need. It also enables practices to engage with patients on a range of issues and to gain their support with a variety of initiatives they may wish to undertake within a practice. PPGs provide patient feedback which helps practices with their decision making.

Please contact the Site Manager if you are interested in coming to a meeting or have any questions about it.

The practice has a group to provide a forum for patient input to the doctors. The aim of the group is to provide a patient's perspective on how the surgery operates. The group aims to meet every couple of months.

This input is both useful and important to the surgery. We are pleased to hear from our patients about the services we offer, and we are keen to welcome new members to the group.

Please contact the Site Manager for further information.

We also run a virtual patient participation group which has over 600 members.  We email patients who have given their consent to be contacted by email, and in this way we can survey then their opinion.  This is a good, quick and efficient way to get a response from our patients.  Please tell reception if you would like to be involved in this way.

Please see the notice board for current participation group news.

For those who do not wish to join a group, there is a comments/suggestions box in the waiting room where patients' views can be given.
