New Telephone System
The Wyre Forest Health Partnership has changed its telephone system. Whilst there will be no change to the telephone number that you need to contact, you will now hear an options message once your call is connected. The new system will help us to ensure that you speak to the appropriate person as quickly as possible. Please note: calls to and from the Surgery are recorded for training and monitoring purposes and in the event that the Surgery needs to contact a patient via telephone, the surgery number will be withheld. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the changes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In addition to the practice’s normal opening hours, and additional surgery opening times as stated above, you can also book an appointment to see a local clinician in the evenings or at the weekend in Kidderminster.
GP practices are working together to provide extended access appointments to our patients. This means that your extended access appointment may be with a different GP, nurse or based in a different location or practice than you are used to, and some of these appointments are telephone only.
These appointments are pre-bookable by contacting the surgery during our opening times – our receptionists will help you to find a convenient appointment.
Allocated Named GP
All patients that are now registered at Stourport Health Centre have a named allocated GP who will oversee your care. You are still entitled to see whichever Clinician you choose to. Please see our 'further information' section on the right.
Engage Consult will be replaced on 17th September with 'ASK MY GP'. The link will be available from this date. In the meantime please call the surgery if you require any medical assistance.

MAKING IT EASIER FOR YOU TO HEAR US
Induction loop for the hard of hearing _
This is now installed in reception. The loop works when a patient with a digital hearing aid, switches the T switch on a hearing aid. It makes it easier for you to hear us. It is portable, so if you feel it would be of help during a consultation, we can take it into the doctor's or nurse's room with you.
If the hearing aid is digital it should have been programmed for use with the T setting.
For those who do not use a hearing aid, but have a degree of hearing loss, we also can offer a hand held hearing device which again makes it easier for you to hear us.
Please ask us if you would like more information about this.
